Default Droid 2 global vibrates even after turning haptic feedback off?

Hi,

I have read several posts for this but most of them are from last year. my phone doesnt vibrate just from teh soft keys but from using other apps as well. Moving icons and widgets vibrates the phone, unlocking the screen vibrates the phone, using the app swipepad vibrates the phone...etc

I am using Fission which is a "vanilla" android os?

Any help would be appreciated.

It's a bug in Froyo. If or when a Gingerbread comes out for the D2G, that should fix the problem.
