GMAIL sync locking up phone
A few weeks ago my phone updated the GMAIL app. Shortly thereafter, I noticed the Sync arrows showed up a lot more often and the phone seemed slower. Then a few days ago I upgraded to the GB ota release. Now, when the sync is enabled, the phone is in s strange state. It does not respond to any actions except when I press the home button; it shows the screen tiles only. If I turn off the sync, the phone seems perfect. I have tried clearing the data in gmail and soft-resetting several times. running out of ideas.
