Default Voice Dialer Commands In Droid 2

Hello...hope I have this in the right place.

I have a Jawbone Icon that works with the built in voice commands in my Droid 2...to a point. (I'm not talking about the Google voice actions, but the Droids built in voice commands.)

I can say, "send text to Joe Smith Mobile 1" and it brings up, and addresses the text message, fine. But I can't figure out if/how to put the message into the body of the text and actually send it.

What I want to do is get into the car, press the Jawbone button that brings up "say a command" and say something like:

"Send text Joe Smith mobile 1 Hi Joe I am running ten minutes behind. See you soon."

It seems silly to be able to go so far as get the text msg open and addressed but then not be able to write the message and send it without handling the phone!

Jawbone offers a couple of apps of their own that make this work but of course they require a paid-for subscription and I'm a little put off to feel like I'd have to add another cost to my phone after what I already pay for data plan now.

Thanks for any help!

Moved here for better exposure from DROID 2 users.

FWIW - have you tried issuing commands like "tab" or "Next section" or something like that to make the cursor move to the body where you an then dictate your message?
