Fixed...Hmmm...
I know that I will appreciate whatever advances Pete has in store...but I'm sitting pretty damn good at this moment in time I've never been happier with my phone!

Ditto here. I am LOVING Froyo and there's no going back. I've already deleted all of my 2.1 nandroid backups. I'm at the point of no return.
Now ... as far as "epic"? That does have me just a wee bit more than just curious.
I can't really imagine anything MORE epic than my phone as it is right now. They can talk Droid 2 all they want... but I foresee no time in the near future when ANY phone can match what I'm holding in terms of capability. Thanks, Pete!

I'm curious to know about this "epic" thing might be, but I'm thinking it's not wi-fi (unless you are referring to tehtering without the use of a 3rd party app). Although I had no luck with wi-fi using either of Fab's themed ROMs, wi-fi is working perfectly for me on BBV0.1.
Could be a fix to make wifi work for everyone (though works for me now)...I'd also really like to see CPU temp monitoring come back, that would be in the epic category for me, don't like not knowing what I'm doing to my droid.

I like how you think. I see that Fab now has wi-fi fixed in his themed version of BBV0.1, but I'm liking my current setup so much that I may sit tight until we see what Pete has in store. His fix merged with Fab's wi-fi fix will have me flashing within the next 48 hours, I'm certain.

Tell me about it! I can't believe that it's been 7 months w/ my Droid, it's successors are almost here, the newest iPhone is coming, other networks have competing Android juggernauts, and even Verizon has put out a phone that "should" be considered an upgrade, but I haven't the slightest bit of inclination to get a different phone. This is everything I've always wanted in a phone.

I bet he fixed the apps2sd issue and WiFi. Hope he also enabled hardware acceleration on the flash player. Whatever it is, its gonna have to be huge to be "epic" coming from what I have now.
I don't know, but now I want "epic"

I don't think that Pete overuses the word epic like so many kids do these days (boy that sounds like I'm old huh?).
I think he said that BB V1.0 would be epic and that ROM was so fast compared to anything else out at the time. So, I'm expecting "epic" from him...just can't imagine what it is. I agree that GPU acceleration for flash would be pretty nice!
I'm just hoping it can actually run on my Droid. I am unable to run 0.1 currently. I'm still on BB 1.1. If it actually works on my Droid, I would definitely consider it EPIC!

The guessing game is fun isn't it?
I don't know, he just put epic and fail tags in his last tweet.

Someone was working on a donation drive to get him an EVO, but his latest EVO BB release notes said that he doesn't have one, so I guess they're still working on getting him one I think he's using a friend's for development.

MotoTorch, which wasn't working for me under FRFxx, is working just fine for me with BBV0.1 (FRF57). Of course, I haven't upgraded to the latest version -- I think it's the one getting all the complaints.
Of course, I don't know that MotoTorch is so critical for me that it would determine the ROM I use (unlike wi-fi), but then I live in a place with plenty of light switches.

I too live in a place with plenty of light switches.
But MotoTorch and TeslaLED, (which does work with Froyo) are nice apps to have when I venture out into the darkness. Or if the power goes out.
Can't wait for "Epic" to be unleashed.

I don't really consider a MOTO torch fix to be epic though. Dang I'm itching to flash something new to my Droid. Oh well, gonna watch tna slamevercery and take my mind off it tonight.

Thanks for saving me the typing. I fully agree, I still have my launch day droid which I waited in line for, and love it.
