Default Phone wont charge

I've searched the forums and cant find an answer or reason, but my phone wont charge either through the wall charger or through my computer. I plug it in and it says plug in your charger, and the light wont turn on. My computer says that the phone is unrecognized. This all came about yesterday when I flashed BB V.3. Froyo. I was running chevys 1.2Ghz kernel with every other rom and have had no issues. I tried a recovery, and switching kernels, and even pulling the battery but nothing has seemed to fix the issue. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Went to Verizon and they exchanged it right on the spot. So I'm all good now, however I'm debating if I want to root again.
