I was wondering what would happen if I tried this app on a rooted og droid? Would I land myself into a situation worse than bootlooping?

You can overclock an original Droid quite easily by flashing a new kernel and using SetCPU. Do you have a different app in mind?

Incidentally, I think the DX/2 overclock thing turned out to be a scam, no?

im already overclocked themed and everything but I just wanted to try it out. And no its not a scam as Jrummy made the app itself and I have read good things about it. I already have it installed and it seems to be really good app. I just wanted to see if overclocking thru there would get me to higher speeds like 1.4 ghz. It probably wont work but its worth a shot
