Question How to overclock?

Now I think about it, the title of this thread might be a bit misleading. Basically, I have a rooted milestone/droid (depending where you live, i live in england) and i can overclock it with apps such as milestone overclock, set cpu etc and generally im quite happy with that.

However i found that when im downloading a rom (in zip file format) there is also a matching overclock pack in zip file format to go with the rom. I would be very grateful if someone could tell me how to use the overclock pack?

thanks

Actually whether it is a Milestone or a Droid depends upon what exact model number the phone is. The Droid is an A855, while the Milestone is a A854 (and sometimes a A853). Yes, it is confusing, and then I have heard of CDMA Milestones (for which I have yet to have a user post back the exact model number).

There is a Milestone section here at this site, you might want to PM one of the mods here to have this moved:

MIlestone - All Things Root - Android Forums

and/or search around there to see if there's any answers.

good luck
