Default How do I keep contacts saved when flashing roms

When I add new contacts and then I decide to change roms, all of my recently added contacts are no longer there so I have to readd them. I don't know why they aren't taking. I back up my data and apps before I reflash or change roms. Can someone please help me with this. It's rather annoying to have to keep re-adding some of my contacts because I do switch roms alot.

You SHOULD have all your contacts set to sync with your google account. That way they're backed up off the phone. My guess is that each time you flash a ROM, the option to sync new numbers to your google account is off by default. Try going into account settings (I think) and seeing if that's on. I flash ROMs pretty frequently and Google keeps my contacts up to date with no issues.

Same here. It's not something you should have to think about unless you're storing contacts only on the phone.
