Unhappy Flashing Problems

INCORRECT BOARD - SORRY! CAN A MOD MOVE THIS TO THE DEFY BOARD PLEASE?

Hey,

I have tried to flash a ROM using RSD Lite 4.9 o my Moto Defy.

The status says "Please manually power up this phone" at the end of install but my phone is stuff on the boot 'M' log.

I power it off and try and boot up but it never gets past the 'M' logo.

The ROM I am using is called "JRDNEM_U3_3.4.2_164-003_BLUR_SIGN_SIGNED_UCAJRDNEMARAB1B80AA03A.0R_PDS 03C_USAJRDNFRYORTFR_P014_A008_HWp3_Service1FF.sbf" .

I have tried a lot of ROMS and they all end up like this.

Does any one have any ideas?

Thank you.

Welcome to the forums,

This is the Motorola Droid 1 forum for rooting. If you post in the below forum for the Defy or ask a mod to move this thread to the below forum you will get a better answer.

It's not a problem, just wanted to make sure you got the help you needed. A mod should get this within the day.

Don't know jack about your Defy, but on the Droid, Droid 2, and D2G, you have to wipe cache and data from stock recovery any time you flash a ROM, or it bootloops (the problem you're having). So clear cache and data. Flash the ROM again. If RSDLite gives you the "please manually power up this phone" message, switch your phone from Charge only to PC mode, and RSD Lite should give you pass in a few seconds.
