Text Messaging Troubles

I noticed that with most of the new GB roms I'm not getting all my texts and have had trouble downloading most MMS'. Anyone notice this and is there a fix for this?

CM 7 has the ability to lock you messaging app in memory - more than likely a low memory issue is forcing the messaging app closed to make more memory available to other running apps. It's a tradeoff we have to live with when trying to run GB on our DROIDs.

Other GB based ROMs may have this ability as well, but I cannot say for sure.

Id rather run a Froyo and make sure I'm getting all my shit. IU have the latest UD. You know how to lock it in?
