Default Rooting

Hi im stuck at the triangle after rooting ive already passed but i held and let go of power and didnt hold down x now im stuck on triangle what do i do. Please experts

What you are looking at is the stock recovery, pull the battery out and hold the X button when you reinsert it. if it doesn't power up automatically, keep holding the X buttom and power it up. If your custom recovery installed you should be at that menu.

I have 2.2 and passed and everything for root but i didnt hold x down. So what youre saying is take battery out put it in and hold x?

I took battery out the reinsert and held down x still at exclaimation point.

Can i redo the whole process and pass again or what i already have everything installed but its back at home screen and superuser is not in there. Not sure what to do now

thats the stock recovery. after you rooted your phone, did you install a custom revocery? (clockworkmod or RZRecovery or SPRecovery?) If not, pull your battery and power up the phone without hold the X button. Let it boot up normal. go to the market and download Rom Manager. in that app you can flash Clockworkmod recovery, than you can use it to flash custom ROMs and Kernals.

Is it rooted it it has passed? I didnt get to the whole recovery i dont see superuser in there. Can i just go through the whole process again on top of what i did

I have installed clockwork but it does say superuser is not in there what should i do?

sounds like your root didn't take. I would go through the root process again.
