After wiping everything from having clockwork 2.5 recovery and wanting to go to stock. The phone is in bootloader and blinks "battery low" and "cannot program" also after a few minutes it blinks to the M logo. I have to take the battery out then back in and power button and dtap but same thing happens I dont know what i did the battery was fine before. I think i wiped it clean maybe even bricked it. Dont know

If you can load up the bootloader you are not bricked. That said can you post the details of what you did to try and get back to stock? This will help us help you.

It sounds like you can't get to recovery and your rom is corrupt, but without knowing more about what you did I am guessing.

I did have cyanogen 6 and i notice no market and i had sipgate google voice call back everything before rooting. Well i decided to do clockwork and cyanogen. After noticing no market. I wiped everything thinking id get back to stock the OTA 2.2 where i started. I noticed battery low all the time and bootloader and M flashing right after but never getting passed that for home screen at all. Why would it said cannot program and battery low. Last thing i was able to do was nandroid backup and even then it said sd card-ext was not found. Btw the battery was always good what could have drained this? And shouldnt the phone work off the USB cable without battery just curious?

When you wipe it does not take you back to stock. Only flashing a stock rom will do that. Try powering on the phone while holding down the X key. It should put you into recovery if clockwork recovery is still there. Then you can restore your nandroid back up and reflash a different rom. If you cannot enter recovery then you're probably gonna have to use Rsd lite 4.6 to flash a new recovery.

The reason you had no market is because with Cyanogen you have to flash the rom AND gapps to have all the google apps such as market.

Then you will need to try and use rsd lite 4.6 to reflash a recovery and get back up and running. You can find the link for using rsd and other options below:

The Guide to All Things Root Related

I am not a guru on rsd so I will not be able to walk you through that. There are a number of people here who can so be patient and they should comment. Also look up teddyearp on here and check out his site (locate it via his account info on here) as he has a bunch on useful info on restoring the droid. Let us know how it goes.

In Bootloader battery low and cannot program flashes off and on and everytually goes to M logo. And that goes off and on as well. I just dont know what to do if battery was bad and not even working it wouldnt boot to bootloader correct?

If your in recovery you have two choices. You can reflash your CM ROM that you downloaded and loaded first. Or you can flash your nandroid back up.

To flash a nandroid back up do the following:

You can navigate using the volume rocker. The camera button selects a choice and the power button takes you back up through the menus. That said do the following:

1. From recovery select "nandroid" option
2. Select "restore"
3. Select the backup that you want and approve it.
4. After is is installed navigate back up to the main menu using power button and reboot phone. Your backup should load and you can now choose a different rom to flash instead of wiping things. (do wipe data and cache prior to flashing the new rom.)

Let me know if you have any questions. I will be around here for a couple of hours now.

If you made them through Clockwork they will be labelled on the data and time you made them using military time. I am assuming that you have dates in front of the three numbers you listed. If so 14.01 should be the last update you made.

What did you update? The stock ROM prior to flashing CM or just the CM you loaded?

Choose 14.01 since they should all be the same. If something goes wrong we can try another one. Once you choose it and it flashes then navigate back up and reboot. Lets not worry about the battery right now since your software is all srewed up. It may be a self correcting problem.

Should be system. It is the top choice on the list in Clockwork Recovery.

When you choose reboot system you choose it with the camera button. If it is powered off try and turn it back on. Don't try another backup unless this one doesn't load. The moto symbol is the bootloader portion, when the word Droid (or whatever animation CM uses) comes up it is the ROM loading.

I am confused.

What happened why you flashed the back up?
What happened when you hit rebbot system?
When you say nothign comes up do you mean the phone is dead?
Can you get to recovery?

What happened on the screen when you flashed the back up?
Can you still get into recovery?

Hold off flashing anything else until we work out what happened. When the M comes up it may take a bit to load your back up the first time.

How long does it stay?
Does the M go off then back on again or just stay on?

I have had the M take several minutes on occasion. Let it sit and do its thing. Is this what it did before when you had a problem? As for the battery we can wipe battery stats later if we need to.

The main thing we need to do is get a working OS then we can work on the other things. Without a working OS your battery working is pointless.

Several questions before we proceed:

1. Can you connect your SDcard to your computer if you pull it out of your phone?
2. What would flash on and off? the M logo? if so that is a bootloop and we will have to try and different backup but we will try somethign else before we do that.

Do this then. On your computer go to www.peteralfonso.com click on the tab that says "Bugless Beast" and download v. 6.2.1 to your computer. Transfer it to your sdcard anywhere is fine though the root of your sdcard would be asy enough (do not change or open anything on the file), put the sdcard back into your phone and then post when you have done that. If you have been on the M for this long there is probably a error in you backup. And since you made the backups when you were having a problem all of your backups may be corrupt.

I will post how to flash BB 6.2.1 step by step once you have it You need to follow the instructions to the letter.

Also i remeber seeing something when in back up "sd card ext not found"
Okay so you do not have a micro sdcard to mini sdcard adapter?

Then lets try this.

1. Go back into recovery
2. Go to Wipe data, select and confirm
3. Go to wipe cache, select and confirm
4. Go to advanced, select it
5. Go to battery stats, select and confirm
6. Go back to main menu
7. Select nandroid and choose the earliest back up you made
- It should run through several things loading your back up image
8. After flashing that, go back to main menu
9. Select reboot system now and hopefully after a short wait you will have a running OS

Did it work?

The PM is not working right for me. When you hit reboot system the screen should go black for a second or two then the M logo should come up and hopefully boot properly.

A second problem could also be that you have a bad battery aggravating your software problem. Try and find domeone that will let you try out their battery to see if it is the battery or a hardware issue.

how about FACTORY RESTORE, it should just put that whole ROM into a fresh downloaded state.

You can also mount your phone to your computer using CW
1. when in recovery go to partitions
2. select mount USB storage

Then you will be able to see the sd card on your computer. Place any other ROM on your sd card, as stated bugless beast is a good one.

When you are done select the unmount

Open keyboard and hit the delete button, this will go one up in the menu's

Go back to the first menu where you see the option to install zip from SD card

Select install zip from sd card
then choose zip from sd card
Select the zip file you downloaded ie...bugless beast 6.1 or whatever

Watch it do its magic, it will say when it is finished and then reboot the system.

After that let the phone do its thing for about 30 minutes. Do not press any buttons once the ROM is loaded. You may have to sign back into your google account which is fine.

During that whole process you can leave your phone plugged into the charger. The phone will still be charging. In fact the phone charges when it is in CW Recovery.

Not sure where to go. I tried to plug into puter and do the SBF recovery. When i USB in doesnt recognize it on USB. And says on phone cant mount card and i have sd card in phone. What did i do wrong now. Bootloader says battery low and cannot program even with the battery out.

OK, the .ZIP file you downloaded is the ROM _ DO NOT UNZP IT!

Your SDCard is going to be whichever drive showed up in Windows Explorer after you inserted it into your computer. Or, if you used recovery to mount the SDCard (which pretty much makes it either Clockwork Mod Recovery of RaidZero_ Recovery), then the same thing - whichever showed up as the new drive in Windows.

Recovery is how you're going to get it installed onto your phone - the ROM is the OS so, if you have not installed one yet, then you're obviously not able to get into it. It's analogous of saying you can't get into Windows after formatting your system drive / partition. Well, if Windows is not there anymore, of course you cannot get into it. In your situation, Android is not there anymore, so....

Which recovery do you have?

The backup you made - are you making it right now (as in after all of this started)? If so, it won't do you any good. Again, to use the Windows analogy, you're trying to make a backup after your HD already crashed - you've lost it, there is nothing to back up now. So, restoring this empty backup restores ... nothing.

If it was a backup you made before all of these issues started, then let it boot up - sometimes after switching ROMs the phone may take up to 5 minutes before it leaves the M logo and starts booting normally.
