Default can you turn off auto dim?

I've also been trying to disable this. I have a rooted Droid 1 I've been working with. I have set a program "Screen On" to keep the screen on when it's plugged in to the charger. Problem is that the screen does stay on, but will still dim after X amount of time, even when set to full brightness. The only option I see is the screen timeout, but no option to disable dimming.
