Hi guys, I just installed Beast 7.5, overclocked to 800 (I don't want to fry my beautiful CPU just yet!)
Anyway, when I installed it, the post I installed it from said it had tether preinstalled, CPU temp, etc., but I can't find those anywhere. I bought setCPU from the market, and that's fine, but I can't find anything else that it says it has.
I do like the pinch/zoom in the browser, though.
Also, where do I find the sweet "Milestone 3D music player"? I followed the link given a few posts up, but it says that topic doesn't exist. I did a search at alldroid, and nothing. Can someone PM me the link, or post a general instruction on how to find it?
Thanks!

WiFi Tether is an app in the app drawer. You also need to get Temp Monitor and that will now show the new CPU temps.
I assume the "Music" icon in the app drawer now starts teh Milestone Music app.
where is the app drawer? Don't mean to be daft but my list of apps I think you mean to call a drawer has not the temperature or the wifi tether app you are talking about.

You may want to reinstall, they should be there. Have you tried going through your application manager in the settings menu? It should also be listed there.

Yeah I just looked through there too and nothing. Weird. Everything else seems to be working? Should I download the buglessbeast again or should I just reboot into recovery and try to reinstall it?
come to think of it I don't particularly like this smoked glass so I may use the patch that has the default theme in it. We'll see if that fixes it.
Although I think I remember reading that Pete removed some of the apps because the original devs of those apps were kinda bummed they weren't getting paid for them (I know this of the setcpu specifically).
I just dl'd and reinstalled newest BB version. At least I think I did...I went into setCPU and went under "System Info" and it says hardware:Sholes (which i have been using lately). Did I miss something? I am pretty sure I am on BB cuz of the lockscreen changes and so forth, but am wondering why it says Sholes in setCPU?

I also do not have these apps...would really like to have the Milestone 3D player and WiFi tether like Sholes has.
EDIT...just went to "About Phone" and it says BB0.8.6...now I am wondering why it's not v.7?? I used the newest update?

The wireless tether app should not have been removed, it's a google community open-sourced project. I'm about to install 0.7.5 so I'll get back to you....
how do I over clock could someone help I'm running bugless
Easiest way is to buy SetCPU from the Market. Make sure in device selection to pick "Auto-Select". For settings recommendations, there is a thread here in the forum.

There are two different roms - Bugless Beauty 8.6/7 or Bugless Beast 7.5. They are the same except for one thing. Beauty is not overclocked and beast is. You need to go here AllDroid - View topic - [ROM] Bugless Beast V0.7.5 (2/10/10) and install Beast. You want to download either the update.zip file or the nandroid backup file and then follow the instructions whichever one you download. On the instructions for the update.zip file, you can disregard the following line "Uninstall any apk & odex files I previously moved to /data (Only If Installing Over 0.7 Or Previous ROMS)". Good luck.
Ok, stupid question alert: when you install a rom, is that the end of the modifying? Like, say I really coveted the 3D app drawer from 2.1, is they're anyway I could get it, or do I have to wait for it to be possibly included in the next version of Bugless Beast (I'm current)?
