Hello,

My OG droid is rooted and running Cyanogen 7, but for some reason something that I am noticing is that I cannot access certain directories, like data/, I need to be able to modify a file in a certain lib directory, but cannot access it, I have tried using a terminal emulator and file explorer. Any ideas?

Root Explorer...or something similar. You will have to mount R/W on the top to allow for file modification.

Dont you have to pay for root explorer? is there a free version i could use? and how would i mount R/W on top of that?

Root explorer is a paid app, but for a couple of dollars it is well worth it. There may be free apps that do the same, but I'm not aware of them.

There is a button on the top in the center that says mount r/w (read/write). Simply click on that. Once you click on it, it will show a message saying mounted as r/w. The button erl change to say mount r/o after.

Es File Explorer (free) also works. But as with Root Explorer, you need to mount /data as RW before you can see or modify files in the /data folder.
