Default Flash backup to Replacement Droid?

I'm getting my 4th OG Droid soon (3rd replacement) and was wondering if there would be any problem with me just flashing my nandroid backup of my current phone onto the new one. It seems the easiest to me to do this, but it's not too much work to restore everything with TiBU (I just hate going through all of the widget replacements and some of the settings afterward).

It's what I did twice, and dang if it doesn't make life easier. (Although now I dread going to a newer phone.)
