I am currently having an issue where I will not receive texts. The problem can fix itself when I send a text or reset the phone; then I will receive all the texts I haven't received all at once. I am currently rooted with CyanogenMod 7.1. Can anyone help?

Do you have the messaging app set to stay in memory (CM settings)?

If not, then it is probably being pushed out of memory by other apps you have running on the phone - CM 7 (and any other GB based ROM) is memory intensive, and GB is much more aggressive at killing items in memory so that it can continue to function properly.
