Default Droid 1 unroot

So i rooted my droid in April. I used superoneclick to do so. The current version of my phone is 2.2.1, build number is FRG83D and I used the SnBitten-2.2.3-Droid ROM from rom manager. I just want to know if its safe for me to unroot my droid using the superoneclick method again. The reason for this is beacuse im buying the HTC rezound. Or can i just leave my droid rooted and no get caught. Please respond.

Welcome to AF Beaver101

I moved this thread over tot he OG Droid root area.

I don't think you should have any issues if you leave it rooted. I haven't ever unrooted a phone to upgrade. Unless you have to give the phone to someone (a work phone or something)

If you need to unroot I am sure some of the guys here will be able to help you unroot.
