Default Problem after unroot

I unrooted my Droid and I thought that everything would be back to normal. It looked fine, that is until I tried to open the app drawer. It wouldn't even let me press it. When I put my finger on it, it would either open the phone app or the browser. I also can't press parts of the screen sometimes. Has anyone experienced a similar problem or at least know of a way to fix this. I've restored it many times, but it's still the same.

Mine did the same thing, so I rooted again and flashed back to CM7 and everything was fine again.
I think our phones are experiencing hardware failure
