before i installed bugless beast 2.1 for the first time, i did a titanium backup of all my apps hoping i wouldn't have to reinstall them all.

when i finally got to the point to restore them, i got a parse error for every single app. i'm assuming this is because 2.0 apps aren't compatible in the 2.1 framework?

so would i have to manually reinstall all of my apps? i have a ton. that's a huge pain. what's the point of titanium then?

I used dmupdater and smoked glass 6 and I didn't have to install any apps but my 3rd party ones.

I use Astro File Manager, it doesn't automatically reinstall your apps but it is better than downloading all of them again. Apps that work on 2.0 will work with 2.1 (at least 99% of them anyway). Not sure about the error you're getting with Titanium.
