Does anyone have or know of a google maps apk that will work with this rom? I keep getting "This app is not signed correctly" or some variation of that...

Still waiting (semi) patiently for my Galaxy Nexus
Well with all the problems and lag that i've read about I will just stick with Nexbeast till this is more stable. Nice to have so fast though.
I just got back to bone stock 2.1 unrooted. And the stock 2.1 is still much smoother and snappy than that 2.2 that was just leaked. I can do without flash for another few weeks or months whatever it ends up being.

Aside from the WiFi problem, I think this runs nearly as fast as CM with LauncherPro. I'll stick with it for a few days until CM or Pete port this to a new ROM. MFLOPS are higher than CM FWIW.
I have p3s 1.25 kernel. Don't ask I am not sharing it you will have to wait for him to post in a few hours. I am getting linpack scores in the low 21s set cpu long bench in low 400s/high 390s

Seriously?!?!
Does it seem to run much faster than with the stock kernel?
Instructions for installing flash are download the file. Extract the files via 7zip or a like program. Move the full APK to your card ( I put mine in the download file) install using astro or a like app. Enjoy
Hey guys...Mine is running super slow after sync and reboot. Also, all of my apps where installed somehow...I think I had Appbrain or something, but I can not find it. I want to reinstall, but I want to get rid of Appbrain...Anyone know where it's located? Or could it have been Titanium (free version)?
**EDIT** Trying a few battery pulls first just to be sure...
Issue still persists...Any ideas? I'll try a reinstall just for fun to see if that fixes it...
Additional info : Installed via SPR, Wiped 3 times, etc...

I was about to post that up as well. It's moving pretty good. Only I did was downclock from 600 to 800. Didn't like that the phone was heating up pretty fast. Especially when trying to view my "favorite web sites".
While I don't know a ton about it, my Quadrant score is a 762, putting me in between Galaxy S and N1 <2.2. Not bad, but once we get an OC kernel, hopefully it'll get even higher.
Droid Life seems to be up to 800Mhz and is getting significantly better: Download: Android 2.2 for Motorola Droid | Droid Life: A Motorola Droid Blog
Edit: just realized the kernel goes to 800, hmm.
Benchmarks reaching near 13 MFLOPS!
Oh man, just ran it again once I SetCPU to 800 and got a 1021! (regular Droid <on 2.1 presumably> sits at 300)

Do you know if this new kernel will have wifi support?
Please excuse my noob-ness. I'm going to flash this through ClockworkMod. One of the original posts in this thread says that we should indeed do a wipe first. I've only ever done a wipe though ROM manager. While in ClockworkMod there are two wiping options: "Wipe data/factory reset" and "Wipe cache partition." Do I wipe both or just one? The phrase "factory reset" is what scares me and I don't want to do something to my phone I shouldn't do.
Has it been mentioned yet that the screen orientation now works in THREE DIRECTIONS???!!! (Try flipping your phone with an app open and the USB port on top. Sweet!)

Both. ROM Manager does both when you select that anyway.

"If you’re a DROID owner harboring a grudge against the world because you don’t yet have Android 2.2 on your device, there’s reason to smile today. MyDroidWorld has leaked a Froyo ROM, complete with root and SuperUser permissions, for your beloved DROIIIID. From what we’ve been able to gather everything, except Wi-Fi, is included in this ROM; Wi-Fi was apparently removed to “protect the original source” of the ROM. We’ve got links to all of the files you’ll need, as well as a complete set of instructions. Just keep in mind…this isn’t official and it’s completely on you if things go wrong, okay?"
Did anyone else get an error after it skipped Apps2SD? It still installed fine (I think).
Definitely have to go back to Helix. I don't like this launcher.
Also, I assume we shouldn't restore 2.1 app data? Or would e-mail and the like be ok?
Got the same thing and saw a post on AAD forums say the same. I ended up flashing the ROM twice just to double check. Everything seems to be working (wifi aside) though.
Have you guys that said Hulu isn't working tried Dolphin Browser HD? I've seen some of the nexus guys say it wasnt working in the regular browser but was in Dolphin. Worth a shot. I'm gonna wait til the wifi is working before I ditch 2.1.
finally get nexbeast up and running loved it, then i see that froyo is up and running and couldn`t resist . man is this nice. dl`d flash and can`t wait to see what pete does with this . no problems did the standard back up and wipe and the install went off without a hitch. all the apps loaded up save google maps. now just playing around to see what else i can do with it.
