Default Loaded update.zip froyo - will i get ota update?

Does manually loading 2.2 before ota pushed, prevent receipt of "official" 2.2 ota update?

Depends. If you manually loaded FRG01B then yes you should not receive the current OTA (which is also FRG01B).

If you pushed FRG22, then you'll get notifications for the current FRG01B.

I downloaded/installed FRGO1B.

Can I and if so should I revert to older version so that I get new "official" version?

The new official version is what you got. Exactly the same.

If you followed the guide by trident what you did manually is the official version. Its the exact same thing as the OTA
