I watched a youtube video, and i'm pretty sure holding the home key displays your most recently used apps, not ones that are still running....
This goes back and forth and gets conflicting answers from even official-like sources..but with 'multitaskin', can't really close programs' Android, isn't it the same difference really? Six most recently opened apps, which are are still running in the background.

If you use taskiller and kill all the apps, they still appear in the list so I'm pretty sure it is most recent.

I use task-killer, kill all apps and when I open task killer again just a few seconds later it's all open again anyways. Am I missing something? First post here and I apologize for being off-topic but I think it's important for getting the most out of my droid.
A lot of the programs like messaging, widgets, calendar etc. I have come open again a few seconds later, I think that that is just the way it was setup but I'm not sure.
