Default Start Developing on Android and the Droid The Super Easy Fantastic Way

When I say super easy I mean it. Going through the normal way of setting up jdk eclipse and the sdk can take hours I know but, Motorola was nice enough to package it all together into a single installer so check it out. It's called Motodev Studio and can be downloaded here, MOTODEV > Documentation & Tools > MOTODEV Studio > Download MOTODEV Studio for Android

Excellent find - better than my VDI find b/c this runs natively in your OS - no need to load a second OS.

Thanks!

Yup - it is dead easy. A 3 year old could install this....

(I would have said caveman, but who knows who might be trolling around here....)

Is this any different than going through the normal route (ie installing eclipse, Android SDK, etc)?

Basically if I'm already set up, is there any reason to go this route?

I trust it's for 2.0, even though it says "Android 1.1, Android 1.5, Android 1.6"?
