Question about USB power adapter for car
I just got a Droid Pro but have not yet gotten a car adapter for it. I do have one of those car cigarette lighter adapters that has two USB ports on the end of it (made by Griffin) that I used to power/charge my ipod while driving. It works fine for the ipod. My question is can I use this to power the Droid by using the usb cable that came with it and plugging it into this adapter like I did with the ipod? Would be great if I could, no use buying a car adapter when I don't need to. I do see that Verizon sells a USB adapter very similar to what I already have.
Has anyone tried or is doing this? Was wanting to ask before trying, don't want to fry my new phone. Thanks for any help.
