Yep. This is the first GB ROM that I had to wipe the data/cache partitions. So I'm currently tweaking my apps/settings and testing things out. Like it so far. Like it a LOT!

I'm also running this. Its very smooth and fast, no fcs or random reboots. I am enjoying it, however the softkey back doesn't seem to work for closing the on-screen or touchscreen keyboard. Home button sometimes takes two or more presses to work, the hepatic feedback works every time any softkey is pressed. The extra UD settings and about phone seem to be missing from the settings menu. No issues with losing 3g. Music players all seem to work. A good rom with very few issues that I've found so far. Battery life is very good however I can not tell what state or level its at until I plug my phone in, guess ill need a battery monitoring app.

Is this the same RC2 that was discussed in the RC1 thread?

Are the accelerometer and camera (and vid recording) working? All the sensors & radios working?

Camera is the only thing left not working still. From what I can tell the light sensor, wifi, 3g after call and accelerometer are working fine.

accelerometer is a lot quicker than LFY and RC1. the light sensor working is really nice too. seems pretty snappy. so far seems really nice.

loving this ROM, but not being able to access the full UD settings menu kills me! i know you can add shortcuts to get to them individually, but even then, there seems to be far less options than in the FroYo versions. i hope he is working on this for the next release... i never use my camera anyway.

Hmm, I really want to switch to a GB ROM, but I can't until I have all the functionality I have on 2.2 (including camera). Are there still no ROMs out that have everything working? Are they close to fixing the camera issue yet?

For what it's worth: I'm running CM7, build 18 (1/28/11) and all (including light sensors and kb lights) but camcorder is working...downloading build 19.

CM7 nightlies have been flawless for me. Camcorder FC's, but honestly, I've never tried recording video with my phone until people were looking for ROMs with working camcorders, in which case I tried it out.

Welp ... after about 12 hours, this ROM's battery life is proving to be horrendous!!! Perhaps the worst I've ever experienced. Time to move on. I'm going to try CM7's build 19. Here goes nuttin...

Been running CM7-18 for the last day and it's running pretty well. Getting good battery life. Way better than I was getting on UD2.5.

Camcorder is the only broken function, afaik.

If you're switching to CM7, I'm on Build 19 with LV 1.25Ghz kernel at 800 max and 250 min ondemand. The battery is absolutely incredible with this kernel. I recommend ChevyNO1's kernel from the Rom Manager.

I HIGHLY recommend trying the 'CM7 nightlies'. That ROM is up to Build #30, and is pretty near flawless. Checkout the "CM 7.0 Nightlies" thread, or Click Here for a mirror site of all the downloads.

To clarify, are you saying your battery only depleted 10% over the course of 3 days with mixed 'moderate' usage? Or are you saying it's your third day using the ROM, and you're getting good general life (need a starting point for reference)?

Do you have a screenshot of your battery usage stats?

Third Day on the Rom, and still getting great battery life. 10% over three days would be insane, not that good though. here is the screen shot just taken.

14 hrs on battery (even playing some Angry Birds) and you're only down to what looks like 80%?! WOW!!! You don't have an extended batt do you?

Also, what kernel & settings are you using?

Default that came with CROM, no change at all. Same battery that came stock with the phone on release day of the D1

Welp, tried C-ROM Beta 2 (twice). The Home button wouldn't work for me. And Launcher Pro wouldn't restore correctly (odd). It's also a very basic ROM ... not many bells or whistles that I could find in the short time I had it. I restored back to CM7 Build #31.

Whatever works for ya, I guess.

It's a known issue. You're supposed to be able to access the Ultimate Settings through long-pressing the search button.
