DC12 wasnt working for me...EVERYTHING was force closing or not coming up at all....this was coming from DC11 w/ no wipe
When that happens to me I do a complete wipe before installing. Bit more hassle but everything works. I installed DC 12 over 11 wiping everything but data. Worked great.
what are the big differences between DC12 and DC11

ok, whole new issue now...android market apps are not updating. If the app was placed on the SD Card I am getting install failed. I am also getting install failed on apps downloaded from the internet, they are from trusted sources. I am not sure what else to do other than just call verizon and tell them the issue that I am having and hoping that they send me out another one.

Try going to settings/applications/manage applications/all/market/clear data and cache.
This worked for me when I was having market problems on another rom.
I wouldn't call Verizon with an issue on a rooted Droid before trying all avenues, then SBF'ing back to stock.....

yea of course I would SBF back to stock. I have tried all of the other aspects and it still does not update any apps, or for that matter download apps from the android market. The phone will not even let me install apps that I place on the SD card. I am going to go through to my last known backup and try from there.
*update
I went to two different backups in ROM manager and was still getting the same error when trying to install anything from the market place or my SD card.
So I went to the very first "stock" rooted backup and I have been rocking that for the day. Its not bad but I miss the "little" quirks that ROMs give ya. Apps install perfectly and I finally got the new market also
Anyone having Bluetooth issues with this ROM? It's difficult to get audio/media to connect properly to my headset. And worse, sometimes I lose the connection for no reason.

Yes having problems here, sometimes it connects to BT headset nice and quick but usually it reboots itself before it will connect. Both on Corcor and Chevy kernals. Doesn't randomly lose connection though.
I had a terrible time with this ROM right at the outset. Shortly after I flashed for the first time I was driving, using gps/navigation, and the phone got extremely hot very fast and froze up. I concluded that the kernel was the best place to start troubleshooting.
Never really had time to notice any 3g or wifi problems...but chevy's kernels have always run real nice on my phone and have been running very well on DC 12 for a couple weeks now.
DC12 is the fastest rom I've used in a while, but for some reason my home and search buttons don't do anything (I still get feedback when pressing them). I redownloaded the rom twice and reflashed at least 6 times to no avail. I'd use this as my dd if not for that issue.
