I installed this on my Droid and none of my contacts are available to be added into groups and the "All Contacts" section only has a few contacts in it, all of which i've call or texted recently. Anyone know if this can be resolved or if there is a similar application for sending group texts or emails?

That app doesn't work on Droid yet, but the developer said he is working on it.

Yea it seems like it picks up all of the contacts I've added after the transfer of my contacts from my old phone. It properly lists all of my outlook contacts as well.. unfortunately I dont need to mass text my new number to any of these people >.<

I am trying to figure out the same thing. I went to the market and dowloaded the free ap GangBook. Easy to create a group name but I am having to enter the contact names individually. I just practiced sending out a group text and asked the two recipients to text me back. I will report back!

I have a Droid X and have been doing group texting of 20 people and 4 people and it all ways to send to one less than my group, like 19/20 or 3/4. This is a pain what can I do to fix it?

You can try Go Contacts. It, like Contacts GroupU, picks up your groups from your Gmail account and you can e-mail or text the entire group with just a tap or two. I've been using it for a couple of months and like it pretty well. It is free btw.

Hello there BigRedGonzolo, I have been using Group SMS pro and Mass Text Personalizer, the problem with Group SMS pro is that I still have to pick all my contact one by one and then send out the text to all at once hence why I got the Mass Text Personalizer app which allow me to group my contacts alphabetically and this way I can send mass text to all group or individually group at once but the problem I am having with this one is that it always tell me that a large number of SMS is being sent, click ok to continue or cancel to stop and whenever I click ok, I will get the message that message could not be sent to recipients and none one will get the message. This is the same problem I go through whenever I use the app, sometimes, the app will send out text successfully to group A but after that no email will be sent again to any other groups without getting the same message again and again. Please can anyone recommend a better app or tell what I am doing wrong with the Mass Text personalizer as I wish to continue using it if I can find a solution the problem. I just find your post then I downloaded contactsgroupU however I already have all my contacts on my phone under my contact and not from my google, so please can you explain further on how do I go about using contact groupU to send a mass text to my contact. I am a promoter with about 16000 contacts and I would like to send mass text to all at once or group by grou. Thanks very much in advance

I just got an LG Viper 4G ... and I just want the simple function of selecting contacts and making a group .. sounds like maybe this is what you want too? Have you found anything or anyway to do this?
