Is there a way to lock your private pictures?

Ounce you unlock your phone from the main screen is there a way to lock personal pics or videos from people going through them?

I bought an app called PhotoVault. It lets you hide certain pictures, then they can only be viewed by opening the app and unlock it with a PIN.

I have a lil issue. I used a lock app for my videos. the phone died, but i was able to keep the sd card. but now i cant access the videos on the card, with my new phone. how do i UNLOCK my LOCKED videos?!!?
