Default Help with Watching Movies on the Droid

Does anyone know what class the SD card in the Droid is? I was trying to watch a movie on it. I downloaded the app called “video player” from the market. The movie plays fine but it seems a little behind on the sync between the lips and audio. I’m assuming the issue is caused by either a slow app or a slow SD card. I don’t know of any other app that would resolve the problem so I’m considering buying a class 6 SD card. Does anyone know if that would resolve the issue or any other way to view movies with proper lip synching? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

maybe your video isn't converted correctly? I don't think it's the SD card because I watch movies on my Droid using the SD card that came with the droid and I haven't noticed an audio problem. Here's a link, maybe this will help.

Someone had said a while back that it's Class 2, but I don't know if there was any proof of that or it was just someone making things up. I've used Meridian for video playback and I haven't had any sync issues. Could it be the file itself or is it happening with everything?

Default DVD Conversion

Thanks for your help but I’’ve resolved the issue. I downloaded DVD Catalyst 3. It’’s an alternative to Handbrake. It’’s only $10.00 and it’’s a complete program so there’’s no need to install "DVD 43" or "AnyDVD." It also has built-in Droid presets. I’’ve converted several videos so far and it works great. It has HQ settings for the Droid that drastically improve the audio and video quality of the videos. They look so much better than Handbrake’’s conversions. I have no financial interest in the software. I’’m just telling you this because I was a die-hard supporter of Handbrake until I tried DVD Catalyst 3. Give it a try. Especially if you’’re using a 64 bit PC and can’’t use DVD 43 and don’’t want to pay $60 for AnyDVD. Thanks again!

There's a free trial copy of DVD Catalyst 3, but the trial version doesn't have the Droid presets.

If you want to try DVD Catalyst 3, here's the link:
