Default GPS/LBS not available

all of a sudden, in the last day or so, my Moto Droid no longer has LBS available. Anything that uses a location such as weather, or the Nearby type of app (Nearby, AroundMe, etc), Facebook check in's, and all of those type of services can no longer find out where I am.

GPS works if I enable it but it seems the phone cannot located itself off of the cellular network any more. I have not (knowingly) made a change to any settings.

the phone is rooted running Cyanogen 6 final. can anyone point me in a direction where I can solve this?

appreciate it!

{update} OK, this is actually embarrassing. somehow, the checkbox under location and security for "Use Wireless Networks" got turned off. I must have fat-fingered in there when I was enabling/disabling GPS but, I don't usually even go into that screen to enable GPS since I have that function on the status bar pull-down. anyway, it's fixed and I posted this so anyone else in this situation would see an easy fix.

Thanks for the update. You wouldn't believe how many times similar things have happened, and how much time many people have spent troubleshooting a simple fix like that (Including me )
