Default Fogged up Screen

OK, OK, I screwed up!

Left the Droid on the front porch last night and it got rained on. Screen still works, but it has a condensation fog under the glass (Plexiglass?). Tried to dry it out with a hair dryer, but no good.

Reconmendations?

Will the removal of the screws on the back (that show when the keyboard is pulled out) allow me access to the back of the screen?

Thanks in advance for any input.

Put in a jar of plain uncooked rice for at least a day or two.

Make sure you take the battery out first.

Screen seems to be clear now, but I'm gonna wait until tomorrow to try it out.

Just curious....why did I have to take the battery out?

FANTASTIC!

The old girl is back to her normal self.

THANKS for all your help!!!

Just one aside....I didn't have a jar, so I used a zip-lock bag.
