Default Handcent help, please!

I scoured the forums and can find no answer to this, so here's my deal:

I got a 6-second mp3 in a text, and I want to save it and set it as my notification ringtone. If I tap the mp3, it plays. If I long-press it, it does nothing. While it is playing, there is no option to save, just pause/play.

My question is: How do I save this mp3 to my SD card so I can then set it as my notification ringtone?

Thanks!
