Default Speaker White noise?
My Wife's Droid has white noise when dialing a number.. once you press the tenth digit you get a short white noise hiss.

Seems to have just started, no recent updates on apps that I am aware of..

Any Ideas on what to check?

Phone still works like normal as far as we can tell
