Can I send a voice message with the droid?

I'm almost 50 yrs old and my eyes suck. I had a dare before the droid, and I loved the voice message instead of typing a text. Can the droid do this? I've looked through the manual, but I couldn't find anything. Thanks

YES, go to messaging, and select a contact to text message, then hit your menu key (the one with the 4 lines at the bottom of your phone) and then select "record audio" from there you record a voice message and can attach it and send it.. works fine!

I didn't have record audio as menu option (in native M
essaging or chompSMS). But I did have a microphone icon on keypad (left of spacebar). Tapping it activates Voice Input. Did just a quick test -- slick!
