Question Trouble syncing music files to sd card

I've been trying to sync my iTunes music onto a new 32g sd card. I tried Easy Tunes which worked fine with my 16g card. Nope. I tried Double Twist. It looked like it was working, but nope. I think what's happening is the sync program did what it was suppose to do but somehow my droid x is moving all the music files from the MUSIC file into the LOST.DIR file upon disconnecting from the computer! The files are still there on the sd card but are unrecognizable to the music player on the phone. Anyone have an idea how to resolve this?

How long have you left the phone connected?

I left it connected until Double Twist said the sync was finished and it was ok to eject the phone.

Well, after further experimentation I have come to the conclusion that I bought a faulty sd card. I decided to just use my 16g. Double Twist worked fine with that one. Thanks for your help.
