Angry Light not blinking for K9 mail

I was successfully using K-9 mail on my OG Motorola Droid. I tried Yahoo! mail, which I thought was OK, but later decided I didn't like. When I was using Yahoo! I uninstalled K-9. After going back to K-9, my blinking indicator is not working when I get a new e-mail. I've checked the settings and I've got it set to blink, and I've configured a color.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this working again?

Default

Depending on which color you have set for your notification LED, it may just not be a compatiable one with the Droid.

I would try in the blue, green regions, or just uninstall and reinstall K-9...

I hadn't had much luck with changing the notification LED on K-9 on mine...

Laugh It's working now

Icecold-I now seem to have it working. I tried other e-mail clients, but K-9 is the best.
I ended up unistalling and re-installing K9. I chose red as the indicator this time and it is working. Previously I had chosen purple. That's what I get for trying to be creative.
Thanks for your suggestions. I appreciate it.

Cool

I too struggled to get solid colors on the notification led... what I found is on the k9 notification settings where you have the color bar on the right and a color gradient on the left... choose your color on the right and on the gradient move the little circle to the upper right hand corner... but go past the gradient. The circle will appear outside of the gradient and now you have a solid notification LED. I hope this helps someone.
