Default My Droid 1 screen is not working

My Droid 1 screen randomly stopped working today. I didn't drop my phone at all either. I know it's turned on because the lights on the screen and the hardware keyboard illuminate and I can feel it vibrate when I touch my home button, back button, etc. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Assuming that you've pulled the battery and such, and yet it powers on with no screen?

If you have an upgrade ready to use, then you could try 'bumping' the phone on the back (battery cover) side to see if the screen starts working again....

Do you sometimes get to see the pixels, like does the screen freeze sometimes while the display is loading? Or is it just a backlit screen but the screen still black? If so you have a problem similar to me and I didn't get any help. Good luck, hope you have an upgrade or insurance.
