Default SD to PC - file viewing

My wonderfull life saving Droid .... died.

As I am lost without it and awaiting my insurance to cover a new one, I mourn all I have lost.

BEHOLD !!!! The SD Card.

I placed it in a freinds Droid and transfered contents to PC ... all still there.

However not all are viewable do to file formats for Droid not cooperating with Windows 7

.jpg (not .jpeg) - some will and some wont open
NONE od the ones in PICSIN app will open, says invalid
.nomedia
SPMOfile ... (not to sure what that orginally was)
JGZ file in soundhound

Is there anywayz without the apps I can get to my files on Windows ??

not all videos with the 3GPP will open in real player

.jpg files that cannot be viewed - probably corrupted.

PICSIN folder - is that a particular app? They may have encrypted them or something....

.nomedia - is nto a file, it is a placeholder and indicator for the Android gallery to skip this folder when scanning for new media.

SPMOfile - sounds like a proprietary file for a particular app, and thus will not open in Windows without an app that will recognize it.

JGZ - try seeing if you can get it to load in a SoundHound app - probably another proprietary file.
