Default Streaming Audio Question

So, I upgraded to a Bionic, and I have a leftover OG Droid. I also recently set up a WD Mybook Live as a NAS, and I have a lot of media on it. I would like to stream audio over my wifi to my Droid, so I can use it as a portable audio player as long as it is within network range. Is this do-able?

The MyBook Live has a media server (Twonky), but I haven't fiddled much with it yet. It streams pretty easily to the DLNA app on the Bionic, though.

Mike

Using the same app that comes pre-installed on the BIONIC, sure - Zumocast - Market Link

I know that there are others, I think the Zumocast thread in the BIONIC forum has a few listed there as well.

Is Zumocast backwards compatible to the OG Droid? Or are you talking about using Zumocast on the Bionic to push the music to the OG Droid?

Oops - I didn't check, you're right, it is not compatible with the DROID after all. Grrr...

I'd look into some of the other ones mentioned in that thread - at least a couple should be compatible with the DROID....
