I have a motorola droid on Verizon.

When I send a text message to multiple recipients, it always fails to send it to the first person in the list. I get the message not sent error (the exclamation in the red triangle). But it does go successfully to the rest of the intended recipients. It has been doing this for quite some time. I reset the phone last week and it's still doing it.

I know for me, it always fails to show a comma in the right placement after each recipient, assuming I do it by going to messaging, and typing a name in, while it completes the rest of the name for me. The only time this works for me, is when it adds the comma already for me and I can just keep typing names.

I have found the best way to send multiple texts is with an app like Handcent SMS, or Go Sms Pro. Both are free in the market, feel free to try them out. They both offer more features than the stock messaging app.
