Droid screen on TV? MHL or USB?
Good Afternoon everybody,
does anybody here know the best way to get my TV to mirror my OG Droid screen? I know the Galaxy Nexus can do it through the micro USB port by way of MHL adapter, would the same adapter be able to be used with the my Droid? I wasn't sure if there was some software that was lacking from the Droid to get MHL support.
Alternatively, is there any way to get my Droid screen on my TV by using the USB port on my TV? I will try it when I get home, but it would be cool to know before I got there.
Ultimately I want to be able to watch Netflix (and other videos, hell maybe even some simple games) on the TV in my bedroom (or any room I suppose) by getting the stream to run through my phone to the TV.
I tried searching for any posts referencing MHL but I couldn't find any so if I am posting a question that has already been asked, I apologize, as this is my first post.
Thanks for any replies!
