Default My Droid REFUSES to play ANY videos that are streamed over the internet!

So, I haven't the slightest idea why, but in the middle of no-where, my phone just hands-down stops loading ANY videos over the internet. By this, I mean the youtube app doesn't work [nor do any apps that play youtube videos], m.youtube.com doesn't work, dailymotion.com doesn't work, etc. At first [when I tried to play it in the app], I thought it was a video problem. I tried re-playing it 20 times over, and it kept telling me that the video could not be played. Eventually, I tried a different video - same issue. After going through 20 videos, I decided to try the website -- Same issue. I tried deleting and re-installing Flash -- Same issue. I've deleted the YouTube app and downloaded the original YouTube app {With no updates} -- The first try, the video played for about 3 seconds, then told me the video could not be played. Every attempt after that never worked for a second. I've tried the default browser, Opera Browser, and Dolphin HD. None of them work. I've gone through and deleted a LOT of apps I never use, and the problem persists. I've tried a restart, a hard reset, clearing the cache of all my apps, clearing the Dalvik cache, dialing *228 and re-programming my phone {My mother said it'd work, but I figured it had nothing to do with anything, but hey, I'm desperate}.

I'm on 2.3.3 [rooted], CyanogenMod 7.0.3, 2.6.32-ulowV-1.2Ghz-ChevyNo1 Kernel, Build GRI40.

Last night, I tried to install CM 7.1, however, google kept telling me my username or password was incorrect [even after changing the password SIX times to try and get it to work], so I could never find out if YouTube worked on CM7.1 [I couldn't access the market to download the YouTube App, which is what I mainly use.], so I have no way to tell [until the weekend when I have more time] to see if that's the issue.

I'm at a complete loss of what to do. I use YouTube almost every day of my life, and this is hindering that. Any and all help is appreciated. I'm stuck.

So I've learned that normal videos also refuse to play in the default video player. When using an app that had built-in codecs, videos worked, so I assume the phone's codecs are messed up. How can I replace [or re-install] the phone's default codecs without a complete reset?

I've still yet to uncover the location of the default codecs. Could someone please enlighten me?

Sorry for the multi-posting, but I really need this answered. I've yet to uncover anything on the internet, and my own personal search has gotten me nowhere.

I haven't found anything out. It could be that I uninstalled a video player [that came with codecs] from my phone that I downloaded prior to this happening. I'm going to see if that fixes it.

Update: Installing that video player did not fix the problem, so I'm assuming that wasn't what caused this random removal of video codecs. Still gallantly searching for an answer. An answer no one here seems to care to provide. I will continue looking into it.
