Default new to droid

hello everybody. i have just got my new motorola droid just after selling my iphone 3gs .

anyways. i have an unlocked gsm motorola droid. am i still able to root this despite it being unlocked and all?

If it's GSM, it's a Milestone, not a Droid. Do searches for Milestone, and be careful to make sure you don't try Droid roms and hacks without confirming it's compatible first. Most incompatibility issues will just be frustrating, but a few can actually brick your phone from what I've read.
