Whenever I plug my droid up to mmy car radio using the headphone/mp3 port on my phone/radio to play music everything works, but as soon as I unplug it from the radio the only way to use the phone to call is the use the speaker phone part of it. The only way to use it the regular way is to restart the phone. Anyone know what can fix this?

yes you need a new phone. I had the same problem and verizon replaced it.

This is a problem on all the Droid phones. You do not need a replacement. The issue will be solved when 2.1 arrives.

You can work around the issue in the meantime by pausing or stopping your music before you unplug it from the jack.

o well go ahead and wait for the 2.1 update then and find out it still isnt fixed. i got my phone replaced and cant make it have the same problem even when i try to. just saying i got a new phone and no more problem.
