Confused How to do a full reset?

For several reasons, I would like to do a full wipe of my Droid.

I've seen the factory reset done at a Verizon store (I had trouble with my pw not being recognized and got locked out...) but it kept my applications. Cool. But not what I'm looking for this time. I'd like to get it back to it being as blank as the day it came out of the box.

How can I do that?

( I did try looking in the forums but everything talked about the factory resets-- I want to have everything off and I can't find instructions on how to do that-- help please! Even a link to those instructions! )

Settings -> Privacy -> factory reset. It does delete everything on the phone.
