LOL. No I mean a dock (cradle). People typically post pictures of homemade ones, and I get a kick out of it. This time though, I'm looking for inspiration. I have a welder friend and was gonna ask that he craft me one out of metal, similar to the background graphic.

Eh? Not bad on the wood one. That metallic one is pretty BA, despite it not being for the Droid X.

This isn't really a dock but more of a case for gaming. The concept is to hold a Wii Mote and the Droid X in order to make a better mobile gaming platform so that you are not trying to hold the two pieces which can be awkward. I have a little more refinement on the design to do but plan to have a prototype rather soon and will post pics as soon as I do. Just curious of what you guys think. Any comments or ideas are welcome

I just went through the entire thread and I know it's (so far) only for Dinc users, but you posted early on that one for droid x's would you be made

Have you design/done them? You're probably backed up by all your orders, but would love to see one for the X.

If you were to design one, is there a possibility to add a magnet to initiate the dock mode?

You can attempt to PM him but he's overwhelmed with the volume of PM's and work order he has in front of him. Let us know if he responds to you cause that would be sweet to have one for the X.

I just made a dock of sorts. I don't have a night stand on my side of the bed, so I just bought a pack of stick on hooks from walmart and used the wall next to the bed. I also added a magnet to one of the hooks to put it into the multimedia mode.
