Thats purdy neat n cheap lol. My DX with its case doesnt fit in it too well, but works well for my ascend lol.

I know for your use its perfectly fine for the magnet to be glued into place however just an idea I've been tossing around for a few days is instead of using glue you could use Velcro to adhere the magnet to the case thus allowing you to switch polarity of the magnet to switch between Car/Multimedia modes and so the magnet doesn't somehow get lost in transport. I'll gather supplies in the morning and try it out. Its amazing that you can still find brand new tapes still in the wrapper for 50 cents at your local thrift store.
