Default need help important

well i was currently DEODEXING and i got to step 3. Run options 3 and 4, which will deodex your apps and framework.
Now i hit 4 and hit enter then it will get to 30 out of 43
and ill get all red letters pop up. ill post a screen in a few min it says unexepected top - level error.

This is the tutorial that I followed. It mentions an extra step that I don't see in the process you linked to.

[HOW-TO] Manually deodex your phone.

Well i did it and i got same exact error any idea what 2 do

Tell us details about your device and current situation. What software version do you have? What method did you use to root your device? etc.

I used this method to root my droid x

Go through the general steps you followed to get to software version 2.3.15. Where were you before that? Before that?

For example, I was on OTA 2.1 rooted. I wiped everything, upgraded straight to the OTA 2.3.15 update, rooted via D2 method, then manually deodexed. That's where I'm at right now.

EDIT: Nevermind. I looked through the thread that you linked to. There was apparently another user with the same problem as you.

Try reinstalling Java and redoing the procedure.
