I deleted google search from Apex 1.3 by using root explorer, and deleting it from system/app

i reinstalled google search through the market, but pressing the search key doesn't launch google search form my homescreen anymore. Is there a setting I need to set up to link the search key to google search?

ok, i found out that even though google search is installed (from market) it is not in system/app.

Where can I find the google search apk so that i can move it in there. Hopefully that will fix it.

if someone could do me a favor and upload their non-apex google search apk from system/app, i would greatly appreciate it.
